My Travel

It's summer

everyone flies away

I look out the window

and travel inward

and find everything I need

I look at the world and feel sad. But if I look closer I see hope and joy ... there is so much joy and creativity going on.  Unfortunately it is less newsworthy, but it is there and it is growing. And joy really lies in the little things.

I go on my daily walk and always find something new and interesting, a different light, a different perspective that gives me a new experience and ignites the joy of creativity. Maybe I am like a goldfish that goes in circles in the cage and has forgotten everything along the way and everything becomes like a new experience ... so the story goes, but maybe that is exactly what is important, to see, look and feel the environment and not just walk by. That the journey is the goal.
